GSA will compete in the Youth Football Alliance (YFA) League for the 2012 season.  Along with several other YFA teams, GSA's 8U & 9U received statewide recognition on the Born To Compete Website that ranks youth football teams weekly.

The YFA is one of the fastest growing, most competitive football leagues in Metro Atlanta Area. The focus of its cheerleaders, parents, parks, players and volunteer coaches is promote good sportsmanship and a family atmosphere at all times.

GSA Organizational Milestones:

•      Hosted 300 athletes at our 1st Annual FREE Spring Football Camp Series @Tri-Cities High.

•      Launched Gladiator Online, award-wining web portal that organizes & communicates to the GSA Family.

•      Registered 130 cheer & football athletes on 4 teams and 4 squads in 1st season after 4 months.

•      Outfitted entire program with Xenith X2 helmets in the latest in concussion reducing helmet technology.

•      Forever changed the youth football landscape with ‘bold’ and innovative uniform designs.

•      Put 3 of 4 teams in League playoffs in year one!

•      9U reaches #8 ranking on Born To Compete, and billed as the "game of the week- 10/22/11" against Central Dekalb.

•      8U gets Honorable Mention, and plays in Born To Compete game of the week. 10/15/11

•      Hosted 2nd Annual Free Spring Football Camp Series in 2012.

•      Organized Youth portion of NFL retiree, Jonas Jennings’ annual Football Fundamentals 101 at Tri-Cities in 2011 (will do same July 14th this year)
